For 100 miles!
Yesterday my brother (Alma), Dad (Kevin), Cousin (Loren), and Sister (Vera) rode their bikes in the century ride in sunny, warm, St. George, Utah. Except it wasn't sunny. Or warm. From what I hear it rained from just before the start of the race off and on for most of the day.
(SIL Matti rode the 30 mile route, also. That's why she wasn't in race clothes.)
My sister, Brenda, had the idea to make flags for the race for the kids to wave saying "Team Smith" because everyone that rode had the last name Smith. Between her and I we made 10 flags. I didn't get a very good picture of the flags themselves but they turned out cute I thought.
My kids all had things going on in the morning but we left here as soon as we could to go cheer them on. We only made it for the last rest stop and the finish line but it was so fun to be able to go cheer them on and to spend some time with family.
